Stories from the Mug

I won't call it a blog if you won't.
Between sips of coffee I'll occasionally post how things are going in the office; with projects or life in general. They might not be CNN news-worthy but still may be of interest.

New Client

Excited to report that I've come away from a successful meeting with Paul from LuxOr Lighting and will be redesigning his website. Need to get on it right away as we need to be live in time for the Toronto Boat Show in early January.

New Site

A definite case of the "shoemaker's son" syndrome. I've been preaching responsive websites for almost a year and was finally able to find the time to redo the icontact design site as responsive. Looking to "officially" launch January 1, 2014. Let me know what you think.

It's Over!

Hurts to admit every year, but the golf season is over. Just wrapped up my final round at Cambridge GC. Fortunately I play hockey 3 nights a week and coach 2 of my kid's hockey teams so I'll keep occupied during the winter months until it's time to tee it up again.

Marketing Conference

Just back from the ThinkCo - Marketing Conference. Great tips and insights for future web developments.

Variety is Exciting

It's also the spice of life and one of the main reasons I chose design as a career. Currently working on a calendar, tradeshow booth, publication and website. All nearing completetion so hopefully the work continues for Dec - Feb time period.

(Skills) Working Hard

Knee deep in the SkillsWork! publication. 100+ pages promoting a career in the trades to youth.

Responsive Website

Just wrapping up a responsive website for Canadian Primoflex Systems. Check it out on your phone and desktop to see the differences. www.primoflex.com.
